Protecting Your Driver's License and Insurance Rates
Most people rely on their driver's license as their primary mode of transportation. However, if you are facing charges for drunk driving (DUI/DWI), reckless driving, speeding or another traffic violation, you may be worried about losing your license. Although the consequences may seem overwhelming, an experienced lawyer can help.
I am Rhonda R. Crabtree, Attorney at Law, and I work with clients to reduce the severity of their ticket or keep it off their record entirely. I represent clients throughout Nashville and Clarksville, Tennessee, areas. Contact me online or call 615-246-5558 to schedule your free initial consultation.
Consequences of a DUI
When I represent clients who are facing DUI charges, my goal is to work out an agreement as soon as possible. If you refused to take a breath test, you could automatically lose your license due to the violation of implied consent.
A violation of implied consent can be a criminal charge in itself, and we are given a general session to speak with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA). After that, we go through Grand Jury and then to Circuit Court. At every stage of the process, I communicate with the district attorney, striving to work out an agreement that reduces the severity of the ticket.
Representation for People From Other States
If you received a traffic ticket or a DUI while traveling through Tennessee, you need to work with a local attorney. By having clients take a driving safety course, I am often able to keep the ticket off their license. Because I can appear in court for you, you will not need to travel back to the area.
